Doctor of Ministry Orientation to Northeastern Seminary
Welcome to the Doctor of Ministry program at Northeastern Seminary. Be sure to review and complete the steps outlined below prior to the start of your semester in order to ensure a smooth transition as you begin your doctoral studies.
Here is what you will need to get started:
1.) Register for Orientation
Contact Cheryl Murray at 585.594.6802 or Murray_Cheryl@roberts.edu to register for the new student orientation webinar and update your calendar.
2.) Orientation Guide
The orientation guide is a useful resource throughout your Seminary experience and provides answers to many of your questions as a new student. Questions such as:
-How do I contact faculty and staff?
-How do I access course materials online?
-What housing options are available during residencies?
-How do I update my student information?
-What are the requirements for completing the program?
3.) IT Guide
Open the IT Guide for a step-by-step walk through to help you set up and login to your student account.
4.) Financial Aid
Review the financial aid process online. Contact student financial services with any questions at 585.594.6150.
5.) Course Schedule
Update your calendar with semester start and end dates, course residencies and dissertation seminars.
6.) Student Questionnaire
Download and follow these instructions. A link to the Entering Student Questionnaire will be sent to you from an admissions office. Plan on 15 minutes to complete the form.
7.) Library Resources
Explore the world class collection of theological literature available to your in person and online through the B. Thomas Golisano Library. These include support services available through the Learning Center.
