Carrie Starr began working in the School of Business at Roberts Wesleyan College as an adjunct professor in 2005, teaching Creativity and Problem Solving. She served as the faculty adviser for the Roberts Enactus team from 2008-2018, leading the team to four top twenty finishes and a 2nd place national title in 2014. She has led Roberts missions initiatives in Guatemala, India and Japan.
Carrie is the author of two books, Cheap Love and Marriage Adventures and a blogger at AdventureCarrie.com. Prior to working at the Seminary, she served as the Eastern Regional Director of Campus Ambassadors Christian Fellowship where she oversaw recruitment, staff training, team development, and fundraising for the East Coast. She has been married to her best friend from college, Erv, since 1993. They have 3 children and live in a 200 year old barn.
Honors & Awards
Carrie was honored by Enactus United States as the Sam M. Walton Free Enterprise Fellow of the year in 2014 for her work as faculty adviser to the Roberts Enactus team. In 2016, she was inducted into the Enactus United States Hall of Fame for the advancement of the Roberts team and the Enactus organization.
