A Message of Thanks During This Season

Dear University Community, Faculty, Staff, Alumni, and Supporters,

As the season of Thanksgiving unfolds, I am moved to reflect on the blessings surrounding us and the profound sense of gratitude that binds us as a community. In this spirit, I am reminded of the words of the Apostle Paul in 1 Thessalonians 5:18: "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." These words resonate deeply as we acknowledge both the joys and challenges we have faced together.

To our faculty, thank you for your wisdom and dedication to our mission. I am grateful for your commitment to academic excellence and tireless efforts to inspire and challenge our students. Your work illuminates the path of knowledge and encourages our students to seek truth and understanding.

Your service embodies the spirit of Colossians 3:23: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord."

I am profoundly grateful to our staff for your unwavering commitment to excellence. Your efforts sustain and enrich our campus, fostering a place where lives are transformed. You remind us of Proverbs 16:3: "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans."

To our students, alumni, and community supporters, your engagement and encouragement inspire us daily. Your belief in our mission and contributions to our initiatives make our university a place of boundless opportunity and shared achievement.

Together, you reflect the light of Matthew 5:16: "Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

As we gather around our tables with family and friends, let us pause to recognize our shared blessings and the purpose that guides us. Each of you is a gift to this university, and I thank God for your presence and contributions to our shared journey.

On behalf of Roberts Wesleyan University, I pray that this Thanksgiving season fills your hearts with peace, joy, and renewed hope. May it remind us of the abundance of God’s Grace in our lives and the power of gratitude to transform our spirits.
