Rochester Chinese Christian Church (RCCC) is seeking a pastor to lead the English ministry and advance His kingdom here in Rochester, New York. As a non-denominational church since 1983, RCCC has nurtured numerous church leaders around the world. Our goal has been to obey and live out God’s Word in the Bible through worship, discipleship, fellowship, stewardship, and missions. The responsibilities will include:
• Shepherd the congregation of RCCC, with a primary focus on the English- speaking congregants
• Nurture the faith of RCCC through pulpit ministry and by working with other members of the pastoral staff, taking the primary role in the English service and a supporting role at the Chinese service and RCCC-West daughter church
• Provide leadership, guidance and high-level plans in carrying out the great commission (missions / outreach) through individuals and co-worker teams.
• Support, develop and disciple leaders within RCCC’s various English- speaking fellowship groups
• Visit & care for individuals and families of RCCC, taking the lead with the English-speaking congregation and also providing guidance and direction for co-workers in this ministry
• Provide spiritual leadership and administration of church affairs as a member of the Church Board
• Provide pastoral counseling as needed

Additional responsibilities include overseeing children’s ministry volunteers, serving on the teaching rotation, preparing classroom spaces and supplies, maintaining check-in procedures and other safety policies, and coordinating periodic special events such as Vacation Bible School.
